Awesome. Congratulations. What company are you with? Keep us posted. Glad things worked out with the trainer.
Yay. Ur on your way ;).
Glad your fears were quashed when meeting her. Hope all goes well. Keep in mind that if things do go very wrong... prime will fix it if you tell them.
Another of our members here had an issue with a trainer and I put that trainee in contact with someone who could help. After two 2 weeks of worry an anxiety one phone call to the right person and problem solved.
Other than that have fun... learn... and rack uo those miles.
I'm with Prime.
Keep us posted how things go.
Good luck. I understand being ready to get out of Springfield, I've been on Glenstone way to long lol
Almost through TNT. There will be some stressful times, tnt for me has been very different from the psd phase. The important part is to realize this is just a temporary thing. Keep pushing forward and it will be over sooner than you think. Hardest part for me was sleeping while the truck was bouncing down the road.
Prime Inc has a CDL training program and the first phase is referred to as PSD. You'll get your permit and then 10,000 miles of on the road instruction.
Prime’s PSD begins with you obtaining your CDL permit. Then you’ll go on the road with a certified CDL instructor for no less than 75 hours of one-on-one behind the wheel training. After training, you’ll return to Prime’s corporate headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, for final CDL state testing and your CDL license.
Prime Inc has their own CDL training program and it's divided into two phases - PSD and TNT.
The PSD (Prime Student Driver) phase is where you'll get your permit and then go on the road for 10,000 miles with a trainer. When you come back you'll get your CDL license and enter the TNT phase.
The TNT phase is the second phase of training where you'll go on the road with an experienced driver for 30,000 miles of team driving. You'll receive 14¢ per mile ($700 per week guaranteed) during this phase. Once you're finished with TNT training you will be assigned a truck to run solo.

I'm heading out tomorrow to begin my TNT training! Have no idea where we are going yet but very glad to be getting out of Springfield finally. I had posted a while back about this trainer scaring me to death asking about me sleeping up top while the truck was in motion, and I decided to give us both a chance to start over fresh. I think that was the right decision. After talking to her more and meeting her, I think she's pretty cool and our personalities seem to be a good fit. She seems to be training for the right reasons, so I'm happy. Hopefully the next couple of months will go smoothly, and I'll be in my own truck before I know it!
