If you study the High Road training series on this site, as well as the CDL practice questions.......no, not for hours, but for a minimum of several weeks, you will be at a complete loss as to how ANYONE could possibly fail it. It is not rocket science. Any 5th grader could use the tools on this site and ACE it. Are you smarter than a 5th grader?
CDL:
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
- Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
- Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

This is yer git 'er done Program. Go through the High Road, and when you take your permit test, you'll wonder, "Is that all there is?"

Started using it (but mainly just going through the review questions) and doing fine. I've also been doing a ton of state specific cdl practice tests (also got the app through here) and I've been doing well. Just don't want to be over confident about being able to pass.

Naaah, Tony, Trucking Truth recommends its own product. The High Road Training Program is better than brand X!

I used the Study Buddy app, California CDL app, and High Road Training Program and by far High Road was the most in-depth and helpful to me. It just gave more whys and whats for me which helped me to understand the answers to questions and not just memorize them.
All that being said, the tests should not be that hard if you put in the proper study time. Good Luck!!!

Use this site to study for your permit That's what I did.I took my tests Friday and got a 98,96 and a 100 I'm very grateful for all of the study guides that helped me so much
