That's a good plan. Don't worry, you'll pass if you study the High Road. I don't know what the numbers are, but not very many people who take the tests pass them all the first time. And lots and lots of them are driving now!
I hate studying air brakes but it's a necessary evil !
Passed the general knowledge and air brakes today!! Proud CDL Permit holder!
CDL:
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
- Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
- Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Congrats on passing I just want to say the makers of this website have a done a fantastic job in making permit testing so much easier,I never got the book from the dmv I did everything on here to get myself ready (more than once) and passed everything on the first try Thank you Brett and everyone else that made this site

I failed the air brakes and combination vehicle tests. She said I could come back tomorrow but I think I'll do the High Road practice tests all weekend.
Combination Vehicle:
A vehicle with two separate parts - the power unit (tractor) and the trailer. Tractor-trailers are considered combination vehicles.
