Congratulations Dominic!
You know what? I'm not sure any of us are really ready for that first solo run in our own truck, but we sure get ready pretty quickly. It is such a rush of adrenaline and emotion after spending your time with your trainer, and then all of a sudden there is no one there to depend on except yourself. Hey, trust me, you are going to make some mistakes. Just do your best to make sure they are not the kind of mistakes you can't fix. For the most part, if you don't hit anything then you were a success.
There's few things more exciting and nerve wracking than that first load you get. But hey, you know what? - they were confident enough in you to turn you loose, so now you can get out there and prove to them that you are worth the risk and start enjoying an exciting lifestyle with a good solid paycheck too!
Again Congratulations!
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
Thank you so much old school, I am nervous as anything at this point. I am exsited about getting out on my own soI will just take it slow and make sure I get it right

If your in doubt about your route, or directions, ask your dispatch..they will expect you too. Be sure and pre trip your route AND your truck...they both need it.
