I'm not a Prime driver but I believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong), you will get a Missouri permit and CDL , then transfer it to your home state. Which state that is may be up to you, but it might be better to get it in your state of residence, in this case Virginia.

Where are you planning on declaring PERMANENT RESIDENCE after you EOS?
This is where you want to keep your DL.
If you're staying in VA for good - then trade your GA for a VA. Get the MO, and then transfer it back to VA.
DMV's allow active mil to keep their DL's in their home state, even if they are stationed elsewhere. This "exemption" ends after you EOS out - so you will have to get a DL where you are planning on staying, or go back to your home state in order to be "legal".

Im a prime trainiee from Connecticut and i have a Missouri cdl permit and will be getting my license monday and you DO have to transfer your CDL license to your home state, just check the dmv rules from your state. But im not sure about you current drivers license being from another state. The only thing i had was a different address on my license. I dont think you will have a problem as the state of Missouri actually voids your current license and gives you a Missouri license and cdl permit with prime's address. After upon passing the skills test you will get a Missouri CDL license also with primes address. Whenever you go home you will transfer the Missouri license for your resident states so you can fix it then aslong as you have proof of residence of where you live now. Like i said check your states laws on transfering and you should be alright. Good luck!

I'm at prime ND you will get a MO permit and CDL which you transfer back home when convenient
Even if you move into your truck and put stuff in storage you need a physical address for your license. After training transfer the CDL to VA if that is where you intend to stay

The short answer is that Missouri does not accept other state CVLs. So you will have to get a MO permit when.you get there.

Howdy! Okay, my question has to do with CDL permits and driver's license. I have an odd situation. I am military, so I live in Virginia, but I have a Georgia Drivers License. In my dealings with Prime recruiters, they gave me a Missouri CDL study guide. SO, my question is this: If I have an out-of-state driver's license and a permit from another state, would I still be considered good for not having to take their permit test?
Thanks!
