I have finally began the life as an OTR driver. Met with my finisher this morning at 0700, in Bryson City , NC. He drove to the pick up, and I drove the rest of the day. Got to fuel up for the first time,, got to do my first bit of mountain driving, got stuck in my first traffic jam, and I'm about to take my first Pilot shower. Overall things are good. One thing I'm noticing, it doesn't get any easier telling the woman I love goodbye. Started my career a bit red eyed.
