When going in for your physical take the readout or results your Dr. has on your SD card in the CPAP machine. That'll save you a lot of time & backtracking. Also have the DOT physician note that you are under a Dr's care for the sleep apnea.

So I am wondering what options you have if you are over the bmi required by dot or company? Can you get your dot physical on your own and then pay for your own study and then go to training? What if you fail sleep study and have to use a cpap can you still go thru the training or are you automatically disqualified? This is something that has stopped me from continuing to follow thru with the application process
