I don't know about the number of questions because in my state, the written tests were all on computer and as soon as you answered enough questions correctly for a passing score, the test ended. There were 3 tests. General knowledge, airbrakes, and combination vehicles.
On the skills tests given by DOT (in our state) we were tested on pretrip, backing skills which consisted of straightline, offset, and parallel parking and last but not least, A road test.
Not sure what state you live in, but .mine was done in Kentucky.

Does anyone know what the number of questions for each test section and which ones require a skills test with it? I've looked all over online and haven't found the exact breakdown for the test. I've only seen how many are in the test pools. Doesn't say anything in CDL Manual neither. Thanks in advance.
