(I can't believe 50 minutes went by without an answer!)
By most accounts, Verizon has the best coverage across the USA, both voice and data.
Thanks Errol :) I've been trying to decide Verizon, T-Mobile, or Straight Talk. I plan on purchasing a cell booster once the money starts rolling in.
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
I would steer clear of T Mobile. Been there, done that. Great in big Metropolitan areas, not so good elsewhere in my experience.
I use ST. AT&T towers. $60.00 per mo. W/10 gigs of data. You can also use Verizon towers. Ck out byop details on their website.
I have US Cellular for phone, Verizon for Internet on my iPad. Both have good coverage, there was one spot in rural Georgia where neither one worked, but that's it.
My codriver uses StraightTalk and I use a cheap Canadian service which runs on Sprint towers . He always has a full signal and often in remote areas, i can't place a call and my phone is useless lol. He does say it absolutely depends on which straight talk phone you buy and you actually have to look at the coverage map on the box for the phone you are buying and make sure you buy one with the better coverage, because they have 2 different coverage maps.. A fantastic one and a crappy one lol.
I have Straight Talk using Verizon towers. Samsung Galaxy S5. $45/ month plan. Unlimited Talk/Text and 5GB data.
I use Sprint. About a year ago they made an agreement with Verizon to share tower usage creating an extended network in areas where one or the other might not have as good of coverage. I rarely go anywhere that I can't get good date service and can always use my phone.

Alright guys and gals, I need your input as a young buck. What cell carrier is the best with OTR? Thanks in advance! :)
OTR:
Over The Road
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
