First California Run

Well I got my first California run. I picked up a load in Hastings MN going to San Fran on Friday. I got to the pilot just over the Nevada line on i80 last night and I'm taking a 34 now. I deliver in San Fran Monday at noon. I have some pictures of the trip so far I'll upload later.

That should be some pretty scenery. Somewhere I have not been--SF.

I came through South Dakota into Wyoming. I got a couple of pictures from when I stopped at Independence rock

I was in Spearfish SD a couple of nights ago. I live in So Cal and hate driving a truck there. Never noticed it in my car but CA roads really suck. LOL

Wait until you get to drive the Freeways in Southern CA. You will wonder why you don't get paid $10.00 per mile to drive there!

Watch your clocks and have a backup plan, or two, or three for parking and shut down locations.
