Just south of the Missouri border in Arkansas for the night. Deliver in Springfield at 0600. Last time I was there Pall Malls were less than $30.00 per carton. About 1/2 the price of cigs in Arizona. Is there a "limit" on how many I can have in my possession? I'd hate to get busted for "Possession with the intent to distribute"!

You'd hate to see the price for a carton of name brand smokes here in New York. They're going for upwards of $90.

I quit a little over a year ago, but before that, I would buy loose tobacco and tubes and roll my own to cut down on the price. Expensive habit, indeed.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

Pall Malls are around $33 in MO. We always buy ours there plus we live there soooo.

MO is by far the cheapest on cigarettes and diesel.

Oh that's right! You are from Missouri Chickie. Do you pronounce it Mi zur ee or Mi zur uh. I've teased my Mom for years about putting a "uh" at the end.

I'm not a native so I say Miz Or Ee. Hubby is a native so he puts an uh on the end.

I can tell you how to pronounce all the names of towns around Chattanooga that everyone gets wrong!

Example: Whitwell. All the natives pronounce it Wut-wull.

And the second A in Chattanooga is silent...

And I think the limit on cartons going across state lines is 10. Otherwise it's bootlegging. At least that's the law in KY.

Well, I can't afford 10. I'll get 5. Will probably get a shorter sentence than 10.lol!
