The only loads I refuse are beer loads! Found myself restacking kegs because they bent my load locks. They said if I didn't stack them myself they wouldn't unload me! Put myself on the do not call list after almost breaking my back 2 pallets high

Omg.... wow. Never even thought of that. One bud wiser plant made us put plastic seperator us between the beer and locks.. hmm. rhe d anyone notice the rink dink places you take the beer to? One place told me I was the first 53 footer I their dock!!! Explains why I had to jump the curb to get it in

You can also look around for those straps that are a "net version", with multiple straps all sewn together for multiple coverage. I've used both straps and load locks. I much prefer the straps. Even if they loosen up some, they are still basically "in-place". Load locks only fall to the floor of the trailer and provide nothing.

So I hopped in the back this morning to strap down the remainder of the load, and APPARENTLY this trailer only has the slots for straps at the very top. So straps wouldn't have worked anyway. This trailer had a weird number--GH followed by four numbers--so I'm guessing this trailer is just "different."

The GH stands for garment hauler. I use those with swift for dedicated jcpenney loads

Arrived at the Miller Coors plant in Denver tonight with 44000 pounds of beer and less than 20 minutes left on my 70, exhausted and ready to go home for a few days. I open the back to find beer scattered everywhere. My two load locks had fallen down and the two rear pallets had tipped.

Now I have to wait til morning since they didn't have the manpower to unload it tonight. What I don't get is how this happened. I tightened those loads locks quite a bit.

I really hope this streak ends soon cause I'm about to call it quits.

I have had the load locks fall before so what I started doing is after I install the load locks I also use a strap to pull in the trailer walls and it gives it a nice and tight fit and those locks won't fall again. The reason why they fall is because some of the trailers are old and have seen their fair share of load locks and eventually get bowed so that's why they fall.

If you think your week is bad, look at what I had to move today. This is the drop off location at a construction site. Pile of gravel 3' in front of the truck the way it sits and office trailer 2' behind the back of the trailer I dropped. 1473213640.6452.jpg

Eh, you're just upset that you have to move a box again. Haha
