I think Pat should write an article on how to find a no tarping flatbed job. I've thought about flatbedding alot but shortly after remember that tv show with the flying nun.

I just lucked into this one. It is because of the product that we haul. The new job will require tarping.

You talking about Mary Poppins? She used an umbrella. Are you even old enough to remember her? rofl-3.gif

Oh and she was not a nun.

Lol he was referring to an old show called "The Flying Nun" starring a very young Sally Fields. It was pretty darn funny.

Sue is the winner. I was more of a book person than a TV person as a kid.

I've talked to one other guy at a truckstop that was pulling a lowboy and he pretty much said the same thing. He lucked into it and had been with the same guy or company for 6 yrs.

And if Pat keeps updating "Flatbed Variety " I'll never have to tarp and can pull cool loads instead of a box vicariously through that thread.

I had to pull a box yesterday.... Oh the agony and embarrassment. That's ok though, The rest of the day we were moving a crushing plant. Gotta finish it up today.

I thought someone would get a kick out of that.... LOL

The piece that I moved today was 13'3" wide and 16' tall. Tomorrow I get to go logging. I don't know what we are moving yet but we have to take the 3 axle trailers so that means we will be overweight.
