Just a note about QC... at prime if you drive "off duty" the time is limited and after 45 to 50 min it will tell you it is going to switch you to on duty drive if you don't park. Hate that. :(

Interesting. I remember you mentioned this before, a while ago and it slipped my mind. Just out of curiosity, how is that recorded on your QC bar graph page, the page that looks very much like a paper log sheet? What is the line called?

Are you under dispatch and/or loaded when you do this?

Only after I get unloaded and theres no parking at receiver.FM loves it cause now all my unloading time is off duty, and my drive to TS so I can get dispatched earlier than if I on duty drove to TS, plus it saves on my 70.

On the graph it shows as OFF but on the daily tab it shows as OD for off duty drive.

Fm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

I thought you can only use "personal conveyance" or off duty drive when you're bobtailing and not dispatched. I have to double check now

Bobtail:

"Bobtailing" means you are driving a tractor without a trailer attached.
