I forgot about a holiday and end up sitting for it. On the bright side there is good restaurants around this TA in Madison, GA and I had a good week of 2600 miles. 6 new states in 6 days! Next time I got to remember to get with planners to keep me busy over the holiday.

Haha I have been clean shaven since I took that last picture. Just haven't changed it. The beard life isn't for me.

Lol I actually planned to be sitting over the weekend. I get my 34 in and can run hard again starting tue. And maybe I'll get some long loads since I just told my fleet manager im not going home til the end of Sept.

Fleet Manager:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Your are in Georgia, you gotta look for a meat and three restaraunt. Good food and lots of it. Basically your choice of a meat and three sides. They have those all over the southeast.

Really want to eat at Bojangles haha. I love popeyes and heard Bojangles is better. Stake n Shake is across the bridge, I know it's not a south east thing, but I tried it for the first time and I loved it. Getting tired of Iron Skillet and Country Pride haha.

Ewwww Country Pride and Iron Skillet are always our last choice. Luckily my codriver knows of these great restaurants that have truck parking or really close by. Last time we were in PA we were able to get Ruby Tuesdays, another time we went to a great mom n pop italian restauant that makes everything from scratch. Some truck stops also have Golden Corral and IHOP too.

Darn thinking about it is making me hungry lol.

I also love popeyes, and bojangles ranks right up there. Unfortunately, there are very few Popeyes in my area and no Bojangles. I have to wait till I visit the folks down south to get some. One of my all time favs are bojangles country ham & cheese biscuits. My wife calls it a salt lick on a bun, but it's oh so goood.
