Well.. Here's something. It is usually pretty easy to get routed to terminals. It is possible you guys could meet up that way.
Prime is a great company and I know many many married teams here. That says tons. I also know women who were trained by their husbands and THAT almost caused a divorce.
Its not that long... You can do it. My guy was in army 22 years. In the last 7 years he was deployed for six. We saw each other like ten times in seven years!! So this trucking job is a piece of cake cause now he is retired I get to see him every five to eight weeks hahaha
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Take your time. The training is huge. You want to take advantage of every tif bit you can soak up, both you and your wife. Plus if each of you have a different trainer you will each be taught a few different tricks and tips and those can be shared and traded with each other to improve your team. Yes the time apart will be difficult. Call everyday. Share your stories. The few months of training will be over before you can blink and you two can be back together. Moral is, take advantage of all the training you can get. You don't want to be ill prepared because you were thrown through some 2 week crash course that only gave you about a tenth of the knowledge you actually need. My training took 2.5 months and I will tell you that each and every one of those days were important. After going solo I actually found myself wishing this and that situation we're in those months. We'll figure out the rest as we go.
