So I'm curious how do you guys set up ur condo? I drive volvo and I sleep at the top. I have APU , Inverter , 32 inch tv , DVD / PS3 , Microwave , Fridge , Stove , Rice cooker , Sink and many more! I live in my condo/truck and I love it! Btw, still trying to figure out how to mount my tv its too big to my built in mount. Looking for some tricks with out drilling a hole.

So here's my house just wanna share guys :)

APU:

Auxiliary Power Unit

On tractor trailers, and APU is a small diesel engine that powers a heat and air conditioning unit while charging the truck's main batteries at the same time. This allows the driver to remain comfortable in the cab and have access to electric power without running the main truck engine.

Having an APU helps save money in fuel costs and saves wear and tear on the main engine, though they tend to be expensive to install and maintain. Therefore only a very small percentage of the trucks on the road today come equipped with an APU.

That's really nice Flatie!

My Volvo is on the less expensive side. We didn't get that bottom bunk that splits open with the optional table in the middle. I'm jealous!

Thanks Flattie.

I was wondering if AMX did the double bunk 780's - or the O/O configured with the table/bench seats.

Probably my #1 favorite layout for a TT. That would be my setup - sleep up top, leave the bottom setup as a lounge area. Downside of the 780 "workstation" setup is that the 4 pieces of the bench seat pillows are not as comfortable as a 1 piece mattress to sleep on. That and you lose a little under-bunk storage on the bottom.

Hey there!...Just noticed u based in RVA...

You with Abelene, Swift or Averitt?

I just need to convince wifey to let me loose for OTR...LOL

Also, how do we do PM's on this board...I just cannot figure it out

OTR:

Over The Road

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

Hi rick all of our Volvo truck got that two bunk. Its really up to you if you wanna use it or not. Some people dont like sleeping at the top esp when they're team. Me as a solo driver I prefer this kind of set up so I will have room for my other stuff.

Hi! I work for Abilene OTR but my route is pretty much East to West back n forth. When I got things to do run recap I stay at North or South then reset back to West Coast. There is no pm here, you can email me tho if you have question:

Yes and I am loving it! Haha I have my own condo , plus I dont need to pay any bills!!

I am doing my 10 here in Indiana..Heading back to Idaho then Oregon. It's a 5 stop load , 4 Idaho then 1 Oregon City and total weight is just 14k+ lbs haha!

I love the scenic view in North West. Very beatiful! When I head back to East , I always get a heavy Broker load but I love the adventure either way!

Be safe out there drivers. I'l just keep ya'all posted! :)
