South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley ordered a major lane reversal for hurricane evacuation out of Charleston. I-26 eastbound into of Charleston will be reversed beginning at 3 p.m. Wednesday with traffic going away from the coast until the I-26 and I-77 interchange in Columbia.

I'm over in St Petersburg, stopped at Wal-Mart earlier and people going crazy stockpiling water and supplies because ONE of the hundred models showed coming across and affecting us. For us less than inch of rain expected, gusts up to 40 mph.

The hurricane is expected to reach the U.S. Friday morning, October 7. It is expected to be a Category 4 hurricane when it hits.
Weather experts predict that the hurricane will hit Florida and then continue up the east coast. Experts also remind that hurricanes are unpredictable and hard to forecast.
Long lines have already been reported at gas stations in Florida, and many South Carolina highways are gridlocked with residents trying to evacuate.
During Hurricane Sandy in 2012, many truck stops ran out of fuel. If you are traveling to the east coast this weekend make sure you fill up on fuel and use extreme caution.
