Yeah I know now. Believe it or not I had a lot of anger issues when I was younger haha. The attitudes of the guys in the shop really put me off, but whatever I am good to go and late again... damn haha.

Yeah I used to have a hot temper. I've mellowed out like crazy.

That makes two of us being late. I couldn't find this loaded trailer trailer in the Denver yard last night and they couldn't ping it since it doesn't have a gps. It delivered less than 5 miles away, but by the time I found it it was already late. The lady at the dispatcher window said it wouldn't count as a service failure. I hope she's right, or bye bye dedicated.

Dispatcher:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Wow I am an idiot. Grab my key to unlock my enforcer lock at the receiver and it wouldn't open my enforcer lock... I switcherooed myself. That's why I couldn't unlock my kingpin lock. Man I feel stupid haha!

Oh man, I'm feeling your pain. Now you've got another story to tell about how once you got your head out of that dark cavity it was in you realized why you were struggling so hard. smile.gif

Seriously, some days out here we can be our own worst enemy.

Hey at least you didn't go grab a maintenance guy to torch it, or start beating it with a hammer this time!

They were getting prepped to grind it off and the shop guys were throwing a fit. Everytime I ask the ones at said terminal for any kind of help they act like I am just completely ruining their day. That lead to me getting ****ed and telling off a yard guy when he said I was using the wrong key and giving me a speech about policy. I apologized after the security guys master key worked. Then this morning I found out I was really wrong.. Lesson learned.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

OWI:

Operating While Intoxicated

Because one key is for the kingpin lock and the other is for the enforcer padlock haha. I switched then by accident.
