That's great Joe, look forward to the updates.
Why wouldn't your trainer just let you drive instead of sitting??
The trainer sets in the right seat and he has to have the same hours as me. The 14 hour rule counts him down as it does me.
He only had 4 hours left as of last night and no roll over hours for today. So they are resetting both our clocks.
It kinda stinks, but those are the rules.

Well I finally made it out here.
Got my trainer last Friday. Have had three trips so far.
Started off with a 26,000 load to Knoxville TN. Did a dead head to GA. Then I had a "real load. LOL.
Had a 41,000 pick up to take OK.
Now we are down on a 34 hour because my trainer was low on hours. So it is set and wait time.
I am having a good time. Looking forward to moving again.
Backing needs a lot more work and I am learning to float gears.
There is a BIG difference in running empty and loaded. LOL
Well more later.

Float Gears:
An expression used to describe someone who is shifting gears without using the clutch at all. Drivers are taught to "Double Clutch" or press and release the clutch twice for each gear shift. If you're floating gears it means you're simply shifting without using the clutch at all.
