Some simple tips to fight the fat.
Get you either a lunchbox oven or a crockpot. Let's you make meals while rolling down the road. Of course get a fridge or thermoelectric cooler.
Stock "good" snacks. Apples, Bananas, granola, etc..
Always park at the "back" of a truck stop. Makes you walk to go inside. Also do a couple laps around the truck stop.
Get a exercise mat and push-up handles. They are small, lightweight and can help when working out. Just make sure the workout mat is well padded and large enough for your entire body. Also make sure the same side always goes on the ground.

Good point!

Those are some great tips! How would you go about getting others to change their ways? My goal is to figure out how you could help the masses through some sort of guided wellness program. Do you think a financial reward would benefit drivers?
Why don't you just come out and shoot straight with us? What's your agenda? Are you genuinely wanting to help drivers with their fitness issues or are you just pimping yourself and your services? Or maybe it's both?
Are you connected with a trucking company?
You might get a better response if we knew what motivates your line of inquiry.

I am not associated with any company. I worked at a trucking terminal in iowa which is why I am working with truckers. While working there i was exposed to this issue. My goal on the forum isn't to sell you a product. If someone likes what I have to say and wants my product that is great.
My goal is to gain information from all of you to figure out how I can best serve the industry and all of you. I don't have anything to sell currently as we are still in production, so don't think I am just on here to peddle product.
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
No as much traction on here than the other Site.....
Maybe the People on "The other site" don't work 12-14 hours per day? I like to keep my doors closed and the wheels turning...... I'm just sayin'!
If someone likes what I have to say and wants my product that is great.
And yet you don't say it!
I don't know, maybe you ought to just come on out and talk to us about what it is your thinking about. It would be a lot easier for us to help you out if we knew what the heck we were talking about.
I'm stopping at Krispy Kreme for lunch right now, so give me a couple hours and I'll be back to see how this conversation is developing.

Alright you have a point there. I just wanted to see if I was on the right track without adding in my own bias.
So the product I am developing is an all inclusive online health program specifically created for truck drivers.
Each member will answer a questionnaire to develop a unique diet tailored to their preferences and lifestyle. There will be video content provided to help you customize the diet even more so there is no reason not to follow it. You will get weekendsome completely off.
We currently have a team of four trainers who will be providing content and answering drivers questions on our open forum. These trainers have years of experience in many different training fields.
We provide several levels and styles of workout programs available to drivers who want to exercise. These programs will very from 20 min. Mobile workouts to five days per week in the gym.
The part I am most proud of is our transformation program. Every 4 months we will have a transformation contest. Winners of the contest will receive $500 checks along with recognition on our site and social media. All you have to do is send a before and after picture for the 4 month period.
That is the general outline of our offerings.

Can you think of a way to encourage healthy habits in drivers to fight obesity? What would you/ have you paid for online training or nutrition programs?
