Are you talking about a dedicated best buy run to stores or dc's? I dont do dedicated but i do both dc and store runs for best buy, lowes, and home depot. Im not real fond of store deliveries, myself but can handle them... Mostly we do Lowes and those are always a double drop n hook unless its a custom millwork order with 3-5 store deliveries... Drop the loaded, pull out the empty, drop that, rehook to the loaded one again, dock that, have them cut the seals, pull up to open doors, dock and drop that then hook back to the empty. Its a pain at best in tight surroundings. Store live deliveries are always tight on appointnent times. I do it because i dont refuse loads but personally dont care for walmart dcs or any retail store deliveries, but often will do some local lowes deliveries to get home since i live a couple hours from a dc and real close to 2 stores where we are their dedicated carrier.
I fully agree that doing dedicated retail store deliveries is best left to much more experienced drivers.
It's a temporary account servicing the Midwest, from what I'm told 850 a week minimum. I'm OTR now, it's not bad but my checks be funny sometimestory. Just wanted to know if it's worth the switch. Thanks
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
If it's a temporary account and they agree guaranteeing you a minimum pay, at worst, if you don't like it, it's only temporary. Also, if they are offering minimum pay for that, then they really need someone so you'd be doing then a favor which shoes you are someone they can rely on when they need something done.

Are there any Werner drivers or any other company drivers doing a best buy? I'm currently OTR but thinking about switching over, any suggestions.
