It was around the time I joined. Read it again though. The possibility for driving for WalMart is still years away. I still have at least a year with Wolding. Even if/when I switch to a company with a WalMart dedicated; I am going to give Wolding at least 18 months if not 24 before I would switch. Maybe 1 day Wolding can get on doing WalMart runs, lol.

I forgot to mention, my last load was Great Value Brand Taco Shells, lol. A little irony.

Just wetting your appetite...

Patrick I think you are doing the right thing by committing to Wolding for 18 months. I wish everyone understood the importance of that like you do.

Class dismissed...damn Errol I honestly didn't know that. I only wish that was the first time I was ever wrong.

To steer this post back onto course; the question was posed: "What are the 'best trucking companies'?"

The simple answer is: The best trucking company is the one that fits your current desire and needs the best. Everybody will have a "best" company. The worst company is the opposite of what you need and are looking for.

Granted, there has been more than a few new truckers out there, who's view of a their company has been colored by their assigned Dispatcher/FM/DM (whatever your company wants to call their Dispatchers).

Remember, besides your good attitude and work ethic, your dispatcher will be key to your success or failure at a company.

Dispatcher:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

Errol, If I didn't know any better, I would SWEAR that my Mother hijacked your TT account.
