Curious. You pay for that or does your company reimburse you?
I agree. Just.something satisfying about driving around in a clean truck.
Although, once I paid $86 for them to wash the tractor, trailer, and do rain X on the tractor...then 2 days later I had to drop the trailer...so now...I just wash the tractor lol.
My company has truck washes at their terminals, but, really, it's more.of a rinse and doesn't actually clean the truck. So, I'll pony up the $30 or $40 every 2 weeks and have blue beacon wash the truck. I think if you asked real nicely, the company would pay for it, bit I have asked once, and the weekend dispatch acted like they really didn't want to pay for it.
I don't know swifts policy though, maybe they are a bit more lenient on that sort of thing?
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
Not sure if it's a Swift, company wide policy, but my Walmart Terminal reimburses once per quarter for a wash.

My company will reimburse once per month for a wash. At least that is what my trainer told me. I haven't tried it yet. Probably will soon. But only if it is above 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
We get one wash per quarter as well. Supposedly I would just have to show up at a Blue Beacon and they have it in their system, but I've never tried it.
They won't pay for it. I have asked and they told me we get it done at the terminals. The self washes don't do a great job once it's trashed haha. I don't mind paying for it though because I like having a clean truck.

Werner reimburse for a wash once a month.

That's awesome, I wish if swift did, but I don't pay rent so I consider the wash my rent haha.
Prime pays every 2 weeks. I even got a qc message saying it was overdue.

Been taking my truck to the streaking beacon monthly. Nothing like a clean truck.
