Hey Rainy...thanks again for the lovely dinner and discussions! You are an awesome example of what I hope and truly believe Prime is all about...caring, generous, and fun! It was great to sit around the table with you and the guys and just chill and learn from your expertise! I hope this isn't the last time we get the chance to do this! If we don't see you tomorrow at Millinium, hopefully we'll meet in the road! Safe travels, God bless and God Speed my new friend!!
Aww I'm blushing. ;)
This IS what it is all about. And you might be surprised how often you get to see some people both at the terminals and on the road. We often have several trucks picking up and delivering to the same place so the drivers go the same routes. I had two deliveries where the drivers parked at the same TS along the way and we had dinner two days in a row hahaha
I should be heading to millennium soon. And glad generous caring and fun were the only names I was called hahah. Tractor Man says I'm mean
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Yes Robby this is awesome. Rainy is a shining example of what can happen when you apply yourself, focus and work hard. She is one of the most helpful drivers on this forum, no matter what company a person drives for.
However please realize, Prime doesn't have a monopoly on this level of camaraderie and professional competence...this is consistent with the interactions and friendships I have made with other Swift and Walmart Fleet drivers. Take pride in the fact that you are in good company no matter who you drive for. We all have to share the spaces we occupy and for the most part do a fairly good job of coexisting.
Good luck with your journey.
Well, poop! I'm otw back too, but I won't be there til tomorrow night. That's if I ever get loaded. Got a load going to the caves due in at 2100 then my truck goes in the shop. You still gonna be there, Rainy? Or anybody?
Give me a holler when u get in. I have time on my load out so can leave Sat afternoon if I want. It might be late bit at least we can grab a bite at the grill ;)

Awwwwe thanks for the invite. Sadly I can't be there this time. But I'd gladly hang out sometime in Springfield. Between the Prime & Wil-Trans crews, the Fire & Ice would be a blast!!
Be safe Rainy D.
Wil-Trans:
Darrel Wilson bought his first tractor in 1980 at age 20, but, being too young to meet OTR age requirements, he leased the truck out and hired a driver.
Through growth and acquisition, Wil-Trans now employs over 200 drivers, and has a long-standing partnership with Prime, Inc. to haul their refrigerated freight. The family of businesses also includes Jim Palmer Trucking and O & S Trucking.
