Some of you know my cat assumed ownership of my truck quickly and refuses to get off it for hotels or repairs. Howls bloody murder. Because of this I rarely pay attention when I jump out of truck to fuel or check the reefer and often leave the door open.

Yesterday I filled up at pilot, grab some arbys and get to the parking lot to see my cat running around outside. I holler and he runs. Throw my food in truck grab some treats and chase his butt down. Asnim throwing treats under a trailer I puty safety vest on the drivers mirror of truck hoping if the guy was about to start he would see.

I slide under the trailer.....and ....it wasn't my freaking cat. Looked like him...same eyes...same size n color... Different paws.

I get back to truck "Goofball!". One eye opens as he pops his head out of the top cubby hole with a " mmmeooewww????".

Brat. He couldn't ha e made a noise when I came in for treats ??

Reefer:

A refrigerated trailer.

OWI:

Operating While Intoxicated

My Monster Maxx can tell time and count how many can's are left.

He knows 5 pm as if he set an alarm.

I'd be willing to bet that he was watching you the whole time you were chasing his doppelganger and only hid in the cubby only after you started back to the truck.

In fact, based upon my experience with cats, I wouldn't be surprised if he hired the other cat to lead you on your wild chase.

Ur right. He often sits on dash and watches the trucks go by. He LOVES red trucks..don't know why. And I have a multi level six ft cat tree on my truck from home so he would feel more comfortable. I'm about to throw it out to reclaim some space. Cat owns everything. Lol
