I am scheduled to start the CDL school the 12th of December.. I am close to the Georgia school they advertise but they are wanting me to go to the Wisconsin school.... I have to get myself there and back after the school is over.. I was told the Georgia school was booked up until mid 2017... I just wondered if anyone has been to the Georgia school or do they really just want everyone to go to the Wisconsin school... It just seems odd they would want someone to go double the distance to their school.. Either way I am just looking forward to going and getting things started...

They aren't trying tontrick you into going up to marshfield. Marshfield is where Roehls headquarters is located so the facilities there are much larger and that is also where their driving school originated. I went to school in marshfield myself and had a great time and got quality training.

Yeah I cant wait to start.. They are talking about sending me to Appleton Wisconsin for training.. They are the only ones I found that pays you from day one.. All in all sounds like a good deal.. I just thought they would send you to the closest training facility though... It's not going to change things just wondered if anyone ever really did make it to Georgia for training though.. It seems like a great place to start out...

I'm trying to get into the trucking industry. I've recently applied to roehl. Can you tell me how long it normally take to get a reply and get the ball rolling on going to school and get a job with roehl. Thanks

You've likely got your answer by now (now being ninety minutes after you posted your question).

I submitted 31 applications and received twelve positive responses before selecting Celadon as the carrier that I will be joining after graduation.

Often I received a call from a recruiter within an hour after submitting my application.

If you haven't been contacted yet just pick up the phone and call them...

BMI:

Body mass index (BMI)

BMI is a formula that uses weight and height to estimate body fat. For most people, BMI provides a reasonable estimate of body fat. The BMI's biggest weakness is that it doesn't consider individual factors such as bone or muscle mass. BMI may:

  • Underestimate body fat for older adults or other people with low muscle mass
  • Overestimate body fat for people who are very muscular and physically fit

It's quite common, especially for men, to fall into the "overweight" category if you happen to be stronger than average. If you're pretty strong but in good shape then pay no attention.

It took around a week to a week and a 1/2 before they called me... It seemed like it took forever.. Once they do call it doesn't take long to get going.. They verify everything and know all about you before they call and you do an interview.. I've already done the physical, hair and urine drug tests, and going to get the CDLP tomorrow... I am scheduled to start the 19th looks like... They seem good and they at least pay you from day 1 of school all through training.. It seemed to be the best fit for me.. Hope that helps..

Can them yourself! I looked up and opened http://www.roehl.jobs and found a phone number: 800-826-8367.

Simply tell them you applied [when], and are ready to make the move.
