I bought a fairly new deluxe Cobra for half price from a driver who was quitting when I went solo. There are always drivers who are leaving for one reason or another. At a big company, you can ask the folks who detail trucks or who assign trucks if they can give you the phone numbers of drivers who are leaving to see if any of them have a CB they might want to sell.
I agree with Brett Aquila, that out of a sense of responsibility get a CB radio. I have been considering it for quite sometime. I'm in CDL school and I am already looking for a good and reliable CB if anyone can tell me a really good CB let me know. Thanks a bunch!!
TA (in Franklin, TN) has the Cobra 29 LTD Classic and Chrome for $99.97. I bought the Chrome. I needed a good CB. The one I had was a used small cheap CB I got off a buddy for free. No range, lol.

I'm sorry, but coming from New York, I have driven through weather like that. In that snow and Ice storm I would have been moving at a crawl or stopped. My life is the most important freight. That was a heart wrenching video.
