I run a dedicated account in upstate New York so I am back at the customer most days and I joined planet fitness in town. There are many locations and for your idea of using it over the road could be feasible I believe. PF has an app which tells you where all the locations are near you. Some are in large shopping centers where you could park or they are located near a Walmart where you could park and walk a block or two. I think if your serious about this the best option would be to park at a truck stop or customer and Uber over there. Again I'm not OTR anymore but if I were that's something I would consider. I wouldn't expect to hit the gym everyday being OTR as you may not always have time to stop or theblocations might not always be near to where you need to be. A few hand weights in the truck and you can do a lot of upper body exercises. But for 20 dollars a month you can't really go wrong.
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.

I plan to keep my black card membership at Planet Fitness while I drive OTR. The few locations here in Tulsa have adequate parking for a TT. In fact, I often see a Prime truck/trailer at the location closest to my home. You might also want to consider resistance bands. I saw a great set on ****'s Sporting Goods website for $60 with great reviews. Up to 140 pounds resistance which is plenty for me.

Seems like planet fitness would be the best option because they're literally everywhere
Does anyone have or use a gym membership on the road something like plant fitness. It seems like the would be time and there is good parking at most location. Thanks John

RE: Planet Fitness. (Never been there).
Do they have showers? If so, could be a real plus. If not, a problem???
I thought those places didn't, or am I wrong?
Planet Fitness has showers, many are open 24 hours, and the Black Card membership allows you to use any of their locations nationwide. My wife had a membership a while back and liked their facilities.
I'm considering a membership myself for the showers and for something to do on a 34, but I want to experience the realities of life on the road and learn how to manage my time properly before I buy into something I may never get to use.

Sounds like a good plan!
