Leaf Blowers For Truckers

Check Home Depot or Lowes. They have a wide selection of cordless leaf blowers. I don't think he will need a big 40 volt model. For blowing out a trailer, which I would assume he will use it for, I think a compact 18 vott model would work great. Im considering getting one myself. Also a small plug in inverter of around 100-150 watts to plug the battery charger into would also be necessary. HD or Lowes would carry those as well. I would think you could get both for less than $150 out the door. Or, you could just buy him a BROOM for $15.00.

If he already has an APU in his truck, he won't need that extra inverter so be sure to ask him if he has working household type outlets in his truck.

Having an APU helps save money in fuel costs and saves wear and tear on the main engine, though they tend to be expensive to install and maintain. Therefore only a very small percentage of the trucks on the road today come equipped with an APU.

Good point Sue. Swift makes us live in the dark ages. No APU/Inverter. I forget many of you have those "Luxuries"

I guess we are lucky. . But a power malfunction fried my fridge lol. It's all certainly do-able without the APU and sometimes they cause trouble too.

Hi, My son is a truck driver and would like a leaf blower for his truck. Can anyone recommend what kind he can use that he will be ablt to charge in the truck?
