That was part of my point a couple of pages ago...I think we know the answer.
Personal conveyance is for personal reason. Ie getting lunch hair cut grocery shopping etc. It's not for furthering a load.
Telling the officer I ran out of time and used it well buddy that's what trip planning is for.
However if you used it because you woke up from a nap starved and thirsty well then.

I have only used off duty driving a few times...and only if I am completely out of time and must move to a parking spot. I try really hard to plan so that I don't find myself in that situation, but sometimes things happen. I do respect the advice.
