Congrats on 100,000. I started in Feb. and also just passed 100K miles that I put on it, but mine started out with 206,000 on it.
100,000 miles...wow! How many were to head back to Springfield to get to Fire and Ice???
CONGRATS!!
How do you know you're getting an automatic? Man, I love shifting, would not want a boring automatic.

Our entire fleet will be turning over to automatic. If lease ops want a stick they are supposedly being told they have to pay an additional $1000-$5000 depending on the truck they order. Ouch. So I imagine most lease ops will go that way too.
For me it isn't so much as loving shifting...its feeling in control and having to learn something new. I hate change lol

......says the guy who drives back and forth between the same handful of places every single day for years at a time.
I'm not mocking you or anything. Just playing around. You have about the best job imaginable in the industry for anyone who wants to be home everyday but it's about as interesting as working in a toll booth or licking stamps. But hey, maybe that's why you like the idea of a truck with a standard in it. It's the most interesting part of your day!

That's just funny!

Since Feb 14th I put 100k miles on my truck yay!!
Wonder how many of those miles were me getting lost or wrong turns hahaha
What's funny is in training I kept saying I wanted an automatic. Now I love my truck and am dreading turning it in. Was just basically told during the PM that I'll probably be able to keep it another 18mos or so.
Yay...cause don't know if my cat, Goofball, will react well to the change. Or me to the new automatic lol
