Lotta closures, lotta chain-ups.
It's looking pretty ugly across most of WY, Southern MT. NE CO, ND/SD - it's just all sorts of ugly out there.
Best to stay put if you got a comfy/safe spot to do so.

For once since it was Christmas I was trying to be G rated. Smh...OK...it's not Christmas anymore
Thank you everyone for the info.
I just missed all of that drama, and made it through in between storms.
I'm sitting in Oregon right now getting unloaded.

Lucky you. Glad u r safe. I'm still sitting in this frozen tundra hell. I80 says will open "after 1200" but last year that kept rolling all day and now the wind is picking up there again. My friend shut down in Cheyenne.
And of course my brakes froze and locked again... But a few swings of the hammer broken them free this time.
If its not open by 1600 I'm just sitting til tomorrow. I'm not driving it at night.
After I pay off my car I'm gonna buy a place in FL and run southeast regional. This decided it for me lol
Usually refers to a driver hauling freight within one particular region of the country. You might be in the "Southeast Regional Division" or "Midwest Regional". Regional route drivers often get home on the weekends which is one of the main appeals for this type of route.
I just got dispatched up to Spokane, WA. and Post Falls, ID.
So much for a solo driver who's not suppose to see west of the Rockies. (Don't take that as a complaint)
I have a feeling I'm gonna get caught in some winter weather, driving I-90

Was that your tractor or trailer brakes ? I was told not to set my trailer brakes in the winter.

Thanks for thinking of me. I had a reefer issue and decided once it was repaired not to bother. Half of 80 is closed now, and the load can wait. This load would have given me 3300 miles on this pay...but who cares. I'd rather be alive and spend my money than dead. Lol

Stay safe out there
