Wet Shaving Possible Or A Trucker?

Just a random thought this morning as I was shaving. I am a traditional wet shaver. My facial hair grows like a weed and is very coarse. Was wondering if anyone else carries their Badger Brush, Shaving Soap, Razor, and Blades in their truck.

I cannot shave with the "goop in a can" and 1001-blade plastic razors, they wreak havoc on my face. Plus I enjoy spending 15-20 minutes on my shaving routine... call me a weirdo.

Now I don't have the same issue as you however, if you have a personal hygiene routine which you enjoy then keep it up. I believe it would be a mistake to stop doing those little things for yourself - in my humble opinion. Plus, wreaking havoc on your face is never a good idea :)

Oh man....if you think shaving might be considered weird, believe me - hanging out at truck stops will redefine what you thought was weird!

The shower stall are private so you'll be shaving most of the time in private. Otherwise, if you're just looking to get a quick shave and head out, the bathrooms in the truck stop will be perfectly fine for that. Guys do it all the time.

That's right. It's a little ironic since I've had this concern as well and figured it was because I was female. Good to know there are like minded men. I've already made the decision to figure out appropriate shower times that'll allow me time to take care of myself the way I prefer. They say it takes a minimum of 3 months to adjust to a change so I'm thinking I'll have my routine figured out within that time. Hopefully.

Does anyone know if the showers are uni sex or not? I guess some are and some aren't?

Brett is right ya will see weird and it is by far shaving ya will be able to shave I have to shave at least every 2 -3 days and I feel for ya with the coarse hair I have a small touch of Indian and Irish in me so I grow a bad coarse bush in splotches. Hurts like the ****ens when shaved and growing if I don't keep up on it.and for the weird picture this, ya go into the bathroom and boom the sink is full of guys bathing yes I said bathing at the sink. I guess they to ashamed to ask for a shower from someone that has showers on their card.

I think I will be fine seeing weird stuff at truck stops. I've traveled to a lot of places in Southeast Asia and a few in Northern Africa, and seen some weird stuff.

Or when i was in italy their toilets have water faucets to wash your butt hole lol
