Apply For Truck Driving Jobs

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Still looking toward prime, the recruiter says my past shouldn't be a problem at all due to they are so old. But I also don't to get to Springfield just to be sent home.

Basically don't lie and don't try to hide anything because they will find out. They do a preliminary background check before inviting you to orientation and a more thorough one at orientation. If you told your recruiter everything and you get invited to orientation, you should not worry about being sent home because of your background checks.

So I already have my class b, so all I need now is to take the combination and airframe side of the test correct or I'm I missing something. Been told that's all I need for my permit

Well the app. Is done looking forward to a new start. I went with prime now its just the wait game to see if i make it orientation, i know we all make mistakes in life just hope my past doesn't affect my future. I made this far as a emt/paramedic and flight medic after the past mistakes, with that anything can happen. So to everyone on here i want to thank you with the information gain on this site and god willing i will see yall on the road soon. Till then be safe and godspeed to all.
