Okay so this is day 3 of driving school for me. (I'll update my diary ) but I want to put a post out that will help veterans that might have medical issues i.e. Meds surgery cpap etc.
my situation I have VA medical only so all my doctor issues go through the VA. I went my DOT physical and only needed the results for my cpap not a problem being in Indiana my sleep study is in Louisville. I was able to get a hold of someone.and they print it out. That the easy part.
Here the problem the school needs memo from your doctor releasing you on certain thing I listed above. Me was med and cpap to drive there vehicle. Not a problem if you have normal doctor access but I've been on hold one time for an hour and now 14 min. I can't get ahold of any doctor.
What I recommend is sit down two to three weeks before or longer and talk to school see if they'll need doctor release notes. Sorry for the long winded and I hope easily readable post y'all drive safe
