Most companies that I know of have automatics. My employer is all automatic, except for the training trucks. If you live in the Midwest, my employer might consider such a restriction, but I'm not absolutely sure. I do know they had 1 trainer with an automatic when I started last year and we were asked in orientation if anyone had that restriction.
I think I'd be more worried about felonies more than an automatic restriction, but since you say its been years, then there are companies out there who might give you a chance.

Hey Ladies, first and foremost, I wish each and every one of you a Happy, Healthy New Year. Okay, so I have some questions. I just finished truck driving school, got my CDL license with a restriction, which is automatic only. It won't take a lot to fix that, but in the meantime, I need work fast. Do any of you know trucking companies who have automatics?
