The three 12v outlets around my bunk aren't working. The ones by the dash are. My inverter is at full power. And the outlets worked this morning.

I'm guessing a fuse? Or could it be something else. I don't even go under the bunk other than the side door outside so doubt I jostled a wire.

What are your thoughts?

My thoughts--what the heck have you been doing in that bunk that could've caused this?

....nevermind, I don't want to know...

Maybe it was your electric personality that fried the outlets?

Most likely a fuse. I have a Volvo and had the same problem, solved it with a fuse. There are several fuses that control different 12v outlets in the Volvo and my guess is the Freightliner does the same thing

I had a similar 12v problem recently. "Here yesterday, gone today".

The shop figured out the plug had separated from the wire just a bit, but enough to break the circuit. You can pull/pry the socket out of the wall and check the connection.

Hmm interesting. Turns out prime actually has a YouTube video on changing the fuses. Omg that is mechanical work hahah. Disassemble the glove box and then pull all kinds of stuff out. WTH? Telling me to use some kind of screw driver thingy I never heard of. Smh.

Lol

Maybe I'll just play the "I'm a girl and you're a big strong man" bit to get the guy next to me to fix it hahabha

Definitely a fuse or break in the circuit. I'd have Prime take care of it next time you're in a position to. And as long as the dash plugs are working you'll still be able to charge your electronics until then.

Well..I just found out my "star head screw driving thingy" is a T25 torque driver...and after pulling the dash stuff out...its not a fuse. I did my "guy stuff" for the day lol.

Not only did I learn something new but I tried to save the company time and money. Oh well. Going back to sleep now.

Thanks youz guys

;)

That means I should wait a 1/2 hour and call - right?
