Seriously...
And I rest my case of the driver who just goes about current state of this industry
Seriously...
It can be done, but without brotherhood standing united as ONE, this won't happen
Actually, yes it can! In fact, it can happen quickly and you can control the entire thing. All you have to do is start a trucking company, hire drivers, and treat them to all of the things you just said they deserve! Once you're up and running you can be sure tons of awesome drivers would be thrilled to come work for you.
So call the bank, see if you can secure a loan for a few trucks, and let us know when you're ready to sign up drivers. I'm sure you'll get a huge pile of fantastic applicants to choose from.
Man, this is gonna be great!!! You really have some awesome ideas and personally I can't wait to see if this sparks change in our industry. I would expect that once you set the shining example of how a company should be run the competition won't have a choice but to follow suit, right? Cuz I'm not working for anyone that's offering less than what you are, that's for sure.
So get to it and let us know when you're ready for drivers! You're going to be massively successful if you treat your drivers this way.
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
Sounds like a flyer from 1978
Im not even started driving yet and im honestly speechless about that op. I honestly dont know what to say. I guess old school hit the nail on the head lol.
Oh hey old school, when the uprising happens, tailgate on the hill watching it all happen? Ill bring the burgers and dogs.
Hey thanks for playing; "trolling for attention." Sorry you didn't win anything, better luck next time.
Brett, do we have any parting gifts for our contestant?
Profit sharing...
Actually, TMC is an "employee-owned company" where they employees get stock. The longer you work there the more stock you're gifted so the more of the company you own.
Here's an excerpt from their page Understanding The Basics Of Employee Ownership:
Employee-Owned. Employee Stock Ownership Plan. ESOP. You’ve probably seen these terms splashed across our website and advertisements, but what do they mean? As an employee-owned company, now ALL of our eligible employees are part-owners at no cost to them through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP.) This comes in the form of a long term retirement savings plan. This plan is similar to a 401(k), which we also offer our employees, except unlike a 401(k) our employees do not have to contribute any of their own money.
Who at TMC is eligible for this Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)?
All TMC employees are eligible and automatically enrolled once they’ve met the following requirements:
1.) They must have at least one year of employment with TMC and worked at least 1,000 hours in that first year of service.
2.) They must be at least 21 years of age.
What determines the employee’s shares?
The amount of shares allocated is based on their eligible compensation and years of service with TMC.
How does this affect our employees?
The truth is, not a whole lot about the culture of TMC or our employees’ day-to-day has changed since we switched to being an Employee-Owned company. Office employees are not suddenly getting bills for the supplies they need, nor are our drivers getting billed for their equipment, truck repairs, or fuel. Simply put, TMC employees are now able to have a personal investment in the way of shares. ESOP adds financial motivation and ownership responsibility while also providing a more rewarding retirement plan for our employees.
Research studies consistently show that employee-owned companies perform better than companies that are not employee-owned. The success of a company’s ESOP depends on how well the company performs in the future. ESOPs do not guarantee any minimum value, however TMC has had a strong track record of solid performance and we hope to continue to be successful. As employee-owners, we all share both the upside and the downside.
Operating While Intoxicated
Brett, do we have any parting gifts for our contestant?
Let's wait and we see if he's going to start his own company first and treat us all the way we deserve. This might be our big chance!
I truly have looked into start up costs, and wow, I'm not saying I cannot get it done, but currently I don't have the means, but you can hold me to this, I will do it, and I am a man of my word, and that's how my company would operate, the Driver is and always will be the heart and soul, and without him being told this and shown this, it's just an abuse of another man/ woman being prayed upon.

>To all drivers, hold on, To all professional drivers, we need to unite and take back our industry from company politics and company tactics of direct lies and direct deceitful tactics to get us behind the wheel. Since de-regulation, companies must be held accountable, we the driver have been and are becoming the doormat for all to lie to, deceive, and down right bold face be treated poorly, unfaily, literally treated like rd world citizens. I hear nothing but drivers moaning and groaning about how bad there being treated, but when I ask them what are they doing about it, all they ever seem to respond with is thi ( what can I do, if I say something I'll get fired) Drivers: if we band together and stand together and unite as a brotherhood, we can fight back and get things right again, but it will take unity and some though times, but look at our industry, were the life blood and without UI, loads don't get to destination, Companies keep telling you/me/us that we are, but the bottom line is they mean to say, take it or leave it, Don't know about you, but I have a Beautiful wonderful supportive wife, and a nice home, and a awesome Harley Davidson, but guess what, what for if all I ever am is out on the road, only making money if the wheels are turning, and now more and more companies will pay only half or nothing if EMPTY, detention, we should be payed atleast 25.00 and hour after the first 30 minutes of waiting..... Hometime... Out 5-7 days home for 2-3 full days.. Benefits for driver, health, dental and vision 100 percent should be paid for by company and percentage based for spouse and dependants @ affordable cost, not 1/2 of our wages, .... Paid time off based on monthly settlement s.... Payed for Holliday's... Profit sharing....Planned retirement... True regulated hours of Operation, driver amenities in trucks, regular sanitizing of inside cabs, regular mattress swapping for new one, ECT.... It can be done, but without brotherhood standing united as ONE, this won't happen, so if your just going to ***** about your just part of the problem, to speak out and stand united now we're doing something about it, if we all just stood united, have our list of fairness ready and not drive for JUST one day, I tell you brothers, it will change for the better....
