Had I been solo, I probably would have become a statistic. It hit so fast, and so hard, I would have pulled off the side of the road. It was back in the day when we only had pagers, no cell phones, so any help would have had to come from the cb. As it was, the hospital put me on full life support for 2 days, as my breathing faded while I was still in the ER. And I haven't eaten potato soup since that day, except for what I make at home. I don't eat any gravy in restaurants, or anything with milk in it.....
I only eat gravy and "creamy soup" items that are made at home. After cooking up a big batch of bacon or sausage you just have to use the grease left over for some good old country gravy. Nothing better than homemade gravy.
