Regen needed light isn't on so it won't initiate. I had the CHK ENG light just come a little bit ago. But, after shutting off the truck and turning it back on it didn't come back on. I have a feeling my truck is heading for some major maintenance.

My '15 ProStar has done that with me three times in 10 months. Always has cleared itself out and run fine afterwards. It would not allow me to initiate the "Parked REGEN" option, either. I did get maintenance to hook up their laptop and perform a manual override regen each time I was at a terminal after the fact. Sometimes this was two weeks later. I would not worry.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Since this thread got "re-gen'd" (LOL) - what was the final outcome of the issue there Patrick?

The hot exhaust never reoccurred. I didn't end up with a CHK Eng Light that wouldn't go away. Because of CHK Eng Lt I couldn't use Opti-Idle. My bunk heater had died. I had a few cold nights. Got back to the terminal and they replaced the bunk heater, fixed a cabinet that was broke when I got the truck. Fixed my CHK Eng Lt issue. fixed my steering alignment and replaced both Steer tires.

Now I have an oil leak. This poor truck sprouts a new issue every time something else is fixed.

Yeah, my truck has been pulling hills very weak. My dpf filter needs to be boiled out so they're going to have that done on my next service in another week or so. They ran diagnostic on my truck and it's been doing an auto regen several times a week lol.

Until then, I'm headed back to the lovely Pennsylvania "hills" with about 46k in the box.
