Hello Gary, and welcome to our forum!

Here's a link in our trucker's WIKI that may have some valuable information for you... Staying Healthy On The Road

If that is too much overload for you then you can learn a few things while also getting a few laughs just by looking into this conversation where I shared about the time I Cooked Some Cornish Hens On The Road.

I have a crockpot I use to cook. I routinely make stews, sauerkraut & sausage, single man's slop (A recipe I got from my step dad when he was still alive), I also have a coffee pot I use to heat up water besides making my morning coffee. I have a cooler so I always have fresh meat, cheese, milk, etc...

TBH I eat better on the road then I do at home!! I have lost weight since I have been in a truck. I split my shopping between Walmart and dollar tree. Dollar tree is great for condiments, spices, lunch meat, snacks, small boxes of cereal, etc... I get my cooking ingredients for my crockpot from Walmart usually.

My crockpot just died on me while on my 34 hour reset and I've got some kind of bug and have felt like crap so in those instances Grub hub, Order Up, Uber Eats.

Do a little digging and you'll find people will bring you stuff that hasn't set under a heat lamp.

Along with my dead crockpot I have a 12v skillet that has seen better days also but it still works.

Dollar tree also has the UHT milk. I like those because you don't need to keep it cold until after you open it. Before you open it throw it in the cooler for a day to get it cold. Keep extras in your pantry. Don't have to worry about wasting milk.
