Man that's really awesome. Congratulations!!!
As I was reading this post (I know, I've been absent for the last few months), I was going to let you know that as long as you have your transcripts to show you were in school all this time, Prime is good with that.

Thanks guys. I was worried how poor my transcript looked might affect their decision, but they were cool with it. Lot of stress off my shoulders. Looking forward to sharing the road with you all. Now to get my CDL-A and a tanker endorsement (which I'll have all my endorsements after school anyways) and I'll be off to orientation in June.
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
Just to clarify...you did not get hired at Prime. You were offered a chance to come to orientation and prove yourself worthy of training. The entire two to three weeks of orientation and training with the permit is a jib interview. So please take that seriously.
Good luck ;)

I said pre hired. I'll be going there with my CDL so orientation is only 3 days, but I'm a respectful person I think I can make a good impression and hope my trainer and I get along if I do end up getting hired.

Pre-hire letters are acceptance letters from trucking companies to students, or even potential students, to verify placement. The trucking companies are saying in writing that the student, or potential student, appears to meet the company's minimum hiring requirements and is welcome to attend their orientation at the company’s expense once he or she graduates from truck driving school and has their CDL in hand.
We have an excellent article that will help you Understand The Pre-Hire Process.
The people that receive a pre-hire letter are people who meet the company's minimum hiring requirements, but it is not an employment contract. It is an invitation to orientation, and the orientation itself is a prerequisite to employment.
During the orientation you will get a physical, drug screen, and background check done. These and other qualifications must be met before someone in orientation is officially hired.
Just don't expect to spend 8 years in the training program...

Got pre hired by Prime. So it wasn't a big deal.
