Trucker Tracker In Beta - Try It Out!

Ok, another major update to the app.

We now have private messaging (through email just like this forum) and the ability to view someone's profile. I tested this in Chrome, Safari on iPad, and IE9 and it seems to be working fine but as always let me know if you run into any issues. I'm scurrying to get this out tonight because it's dinner time and I'm starving! So hopefully there aren't any bugs.

You'll immediately notice the changes when you click on someone's name in the table. You will now see their row highlighted green with a new row inserted underneath it which will give you the option of viewing their profile or sending them a message. Try these out and let me know if you're having any problems. You can even send a private message to yourself if you prefer talking to yourself, much like I do!

I'll be checking back here over the next few hours to see if there are any issues.

And by the way - for those who may not know - if you receive a private message from someone here in the forum or in the Tracker app you can simply reply to it like any other email and they will receive your reply. You don't have to come back to the forum or the app to reply to their message.

Yes indeed we will, but not just yet. I don't want to link to it in a major way until I have the features in it we want and the bugs worked out. I'll tell ya what...I'll put it in the menu at the top right of the forum and on the main page it takes you to when you login. That way our registered users will see it more easily. Probably next week I'll put it in the main menus.

I'm outside of Buffalo, NY but I have satellite internet and sometimes it decides to show my position in Minnesota.

Ya know, if you moved to Minnesota it would make it a lot easier for us to find you. Not everyone goes to NY often

Just a thought...

Don't let Brett fool ya.. ..he has it set up that way so when the proverbial sh**t hits the marshal law fan....they won't be able to find Brett...and he will have his private radio station up and hollarin'... But I won't say what he will be hollarin'......they may be listenin' to MY computer !!!!
