Sigh...
No mini-trucker - no scales. No logs either. Not for a 10' box truck.
Drive like you don't want to hit anything - because the last thing you want is an accident a week before orientation.
Rick
One short week and ill be a mini trucker. Ill have a 10 foot box truck and car full trailer. I estimate ill have a 1500 pound load in the rruck. Will i need to stop at weigh scales? Also we are experiancing a little bit of snow. How should i drive? Its a truck so it has a windsail box, but my guess is wont be heavy so probably will act as a car on the snow. Any ideas?
Hahaha how cute! The little 10' ft box truck guy thinks he's driving a truck!
Ok sorry, that was mean.. But seriously, it'll drive more like a pickup than a "truck." I just drove all my stuff down to Colorado Springs in a 10' ft Uhaul. When I got here my bro-in-law stood behind me to help back me up. I didn't say it out loud, but in my head I'm like, "Just get out of the way. I could back circles around you in my sleep in this thing."
The only thing you have to watch out for is low clearances--like, REALLY low clearances!
Reaper, Another name for a 10 foot Box Truck is an SUV!
Reaper you are a gluten for punishment...we are however all pulling for you to succeed. But I beg you,...do not pull your U-Haul onto the big kid's scale...and if you do, please so not mention that you know any of us.
Dang Reaper you goin in hard lol. im just packing a duffle and a backpack and tryin to get a laptop before i go. Look forward to seeing you!
I just hope your recruiter was better then mine! lmfao
Sorry im horrible at trying to put sarcasm into text... my family was calling me that and i was trying to poke fun. The question about how the truck drives on snow was the only honest qurstion about that post.
My bad.
Reaper, please remember what I posted a couple of weeks ago. Be the quietest guy in the class. Do not be the guy that keeps interrupting the class with questions or comments. Try your best to be "invisible". Just study hard and get the job done!

Uhuh, sure. LOL. Should really be no different than a car. It's probably rear-wheel drive, so don't accelerate too quick in the snow or you'll fish-tail.
