I guess I could have toughed it out more, but I was not able to go out with another trainer, they wouldn't let me, yes there is alot more involved that I would rather not say. Yeah I am from the pittsburgh area, and how would you know that I am in the union in my regular job. I have posted things on the company's facebook website, and they have been very kind to me. I did in fact have to come home to get health issues of my own taken care of. Just because I was let go by the training manager doesn't mean that I can't go back in the future if I really wanted to, it's just the timing that was wrong.

Sorry.... But this sounds like a cop out. Companies don't even fire new solo drivers for one accident unless its a major accident. They send them back out with a trainer....if in training they add miles/hours to the normal requirement. There's a lot more going on here.
"I didn't get enough training so I was let go". BS. Right there. You were terminated for something more than a minor accident. And it wasn't about the length of training. G Town recommended you take responsibility for your actions when talking to prospective employers but you aren't with us and we don't know you.
You said you didn't leave on bad terms but then state the truth that you were terminated and not eleigle for rehire. Those are the worst terms around so you are either grossly understating here or you are oblivious to the true situation you created.
Give us the real story so we can help. Lie, omit, or sugar coat it and we know the difference. Funny thing is that YOU are responsible for your training. I didn't get enough either and I asked for more help before upgrading....I got it. You need to ask for what you need and lack.
Most trainees/new drivers lose confidence after an accident----that did not get you terminated either.
