Oh come on guys....we saw lots of lies on forums and Youtube.
One i remember is that dispatch needs to be "put in their place". uh, no. dont be nasty or a whiney crybaby or you wont get loads.
I also saw that all new drivers were forced into old broken down trucks. Not true. My first was a year old, my next was a year old.
or better yet, companies refuse to.repair equipment. This is not happening at a major carrier. Maybe the smaller family owned companies, but the mega carriers willing to take chances on new drivers will fix their equipment and want you to drive safely. i tell dispatch flat out "i need a load into the terminal for repairs". i get "10/4 thanks be safe"
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
