Rand McNally 730 Issues. Help

Rick last I checked all 27 satellites were property of the u.s government, no other county had gps satellites up, last I checked.
Was making the "Putin is responsible for everything bad that happens" joke there.

Rainy have you ever hooked it up to your laptop and used the Rand McNally dock to update it? There is a diagnostic and repair in that program. I did an update on mine and it started doing stupid stuff like completely re routing me and adding extra miles to my trip when I would jump off the interstate for fuel or a break, ran the diagnostic on mine and it found several corrupt files then repaired them.
Interstate:
Commercial trade, business, movement of goods or money, or transportation from one state to another, regulated by the Federal Department Of Transportation (DOT).
When I say re route I'm talking completely changed when I would jump back on the interstate so not doing it when off the interstate to try to get me back to it through another route.

I did call the number which is how I found out there were satellite outages. . It refused to update :(
The create button didn't work.
But today I have it back!!!!! Yay!!

With GPS units and satellites, while you will get a read out when connected to three, five or more are required for single digit accuracy (down to 1m).
Not saying that was the problem, just a fun fact for you all. An additional fun fact, is it is possible for high output electronics to jam GPS signals, something very common out in white sands when we were testing other equipment.
