If you don't mind me asking what is your mechanical aptitude? Some of the warranties have specific small print that can be costly. I can't say anything about the company you are looking into that is just in general.
We really shy away from discussing leasing/purchasing tractors here at TT.
There are numerous other resources you can check - other forums, OOIDA , etc.
We do one thing VERY WELL - assist folks interested in entering the industry in getting the best, most informed start possible.
Everything else - we leave to others better equipped.

A 2016 Volvo with 95,000 miles for less than $50,000? What is wrong with it? Sounds way too cheap to me, or you got bad info from Lone Mountain.

So in my struggle to find a company that fits my needs I've been thinking about just buying a truck and leasing onto schneider. I have basically been living in my company truck for the last year and have managed to save a little more than 30k, i was looking at my options and think im gonna go with lone mountain truck sales. I called on a 2016 volvo they have, they said its got 95,000 miles on it and its still under warranty for 4 years. I plan on putting $12,000 down which will bring my monthly payment down to around $1150 for 40 months. I've heard so many bad things about alot of these lease to own companies, and all the ones i checked out (such as prime) want $850+ a week for some beat up pos with half a million miles on it. figured i might as well finance my own truck so i can take it with me if i decide i dont like whatever company im running for. Anyways have any of you got your truck through lone mountain? What do you think of them in hindsight?
