I'm heading thru AZ to NM

From where? Will you be going to Southern NM on the 10 or across the 40 to Albuquerque? If you are coming across the 10 thru Tucson, let me know!

Oh Man, I would love to meet you someday OS. This is my Hometown. Where were you Picking up/ Delivering?

I was just passing through. I am hauling a load of rocks from Tecate, California to Rockwall, TX as a back haul to get me back near my dedicated customer in Louisiana. I was on I-10 doing everything I could to get to the T/A in Las Cruces, New Mexico and shut down for the night. Next time I'm over that way I'll let you know.

My truck decided to get a case of the dumbass. Both check engine lights came on, the low DEF light started blinking. (Gauge shows full, and I topped of yesterday) and the engine debated. So here I sit in Spokane, waiting on parts and service. Hope they can get this fixed tomorrow, because I'm on a load running from WA. to Florida.

And Taste buds, your damn Skippy, I'm a ****in sailor. Haha

Just shut down at Flying J in Salt Lake City for the night. Anybody familiar with the area know any decent places for food nearby?

I've learned to Google "food near me" when in situations like this. I've found some gems well within walking distance. Also, sometimes I find some with are really funny name. Yesterday morning, after realizing I'd be here a while, I found one online named Pho Kim Long! It was about a half mile away and normally would be well within walking distance, but they had a couple of good gut trucks in the area close by instead.

Well, thanks to my good friend "Bug Smasher One," this whole thread has taken an unusual turn, but for the Pho fans out there, the finest bowl of of Pho I've ever eaten came from a place called "The Rusty Pelican" just outside of Gulfport, Mississippi.

I'm headed towards the Swift terminal in SLC shortly. Should be there about 1500. Supposed to be ggoing home to Socal but they kinda shanghai'd me here for a couple days. LOL!

JJ

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Nice Terminal, good food at the cafe'. Don,t follow the QC directions. They cut a new road in with a stop light, and put a median where the QC wants you to turn left past that light. I'm sure you know that. It would be nice if they updated the directions to their OWN TERMINAL!

The restaurant there is so good! And you're surrounded by mountains. I always enjoyed going to that terminal.
